I am an Herbalist and Druid Priestess, trained as a Brighid’s Aide Woman and initiated by Gina McGarry, Ard Ban Draoi (High Woman Druid). I believe in the incredible power of the body to heal itself when properly nourished and in touch with Spirit.

Inspired by my Irish heritage and a healthy dose of Medieval literature, I began my study of ancient Celtic and Pre-Celtic traditions more than 15 years ago. All of this would lead me to Oregon and to Brighid’s Academy to begin weaving together a tapestry of healing.

In Ireland I pursued further intensive studies at the academy with Gina McGarry, including pilgrimages to and rituals at sacred sites. I also studied the art of dowsing with Master Diviner Anthony McNaulty, and furthered my studies of astrology with the gifted Jennifer Hogue.  This experience helped me hone my skills and allowed me a deeper connection with the Cascade range when I returned, and now to the Salish Sea and my current home, San Juan Island.

Additional studies include the science and alchemy of distilling essential oils and hydrosols with aromatherapist Jeanne Rose, The Sacred Art of Dying and Spiritual Care for Hospice with Roy Green, and Jungian Astrology with Susan Dearborn-Jackson.

The classes I offer spiral around and through each other picking up different threads of ancient knowledge. It is important to lay aside linear thinking in order to allow the weaving of the web. It is not necessary to take the classes in any specific order. Each class is complete unto itself, but each class is also part of a greater whole reinforced by every turn of the spiral.
